An advanced course in digital image creation and manipulation, Raster Graphics II deepened proficiency in Photoshop with a focus on complex visual storytelling, photo compositing, digital painting, and professional-level retouching techniques.

Then & Now: My Childhood Memory

By carefully isolating and refining a childhood figure of myself and introducing an updated self-portrait into the same scene, this project uses raster editing to blend the two timelines.

Aquafina Vodka

This satirical design fuses two well-known brands into one "unlikely" product through skillful photo compositing, typography matching, and label replacement.
I created faux highlights, shadows, and reflections in order to maintain realism.

Dreamscape

This digital painting captures a peaceful image of my cat, using a variety of textured brushes to simulate soft fur and atmospheric lighting to create a "dream-like" setting.

Past & Present

This piece overlays an archival photo with a modern street view of downtown Valparaiso, IN. Creating a "ghostly" transition between past and present times of the same street.
